Stefan Hoskovec is a film composer and pianist from Vienna, currently scoring films and writing original piano works at 19. He came to composition through the back door — teaching himself piano during lockdown, he found it easier to create his own melodies than to read them off a page.
His music is built around melody and space — cinematic textures that never overwhelm, and solo piano pieces that reward close listening.
In 2025 he attended the Composer Summit Prague, where he had the opportunity to meet Harry Gregson-Williams (The Martian, Narnia), Pinar Toprak (Captain Marvel), Jung Jae-il (Squid Game), Christophe Beck (Ant-Man, Frozen), and Conrad Pope (Star Wars, Harry Potter). The same year he attended the Hollywood Music Workshop at Synchron Stage Vienna, studying under Conrad Pope and Austin Wintory (Journey, Assassin's Creed).
